What else I can say ..this is my wedding day ..simple, elegant, creative , relaxed, good food, sweet cakes, lots of music and dancing , drinking and singing ..may be somewhere in the woods or in my parents' backyard. And if my mom organizes it as she knows what I like, I don’t want anything else. Just to be happy, loved and enjoy life! . And this was Adrianna and Hudson’s wedding day. No pretentious and very elegant at the same time.
Did I mention I was seven and half months pregnant ? :)
Their beautiful vintage wedding took place at the house of Adriana's mother in Elk Grove, CA.

The mother and daughter portraits are one of my favorite from this day.
I shot them close to the window which gave me a beautiful soft light.

the wedding bouquet had a personal value to it. There was a small family bijou attached to it.
I love those groomsmen, they had so much fun with me taking their photos ,,wanted to do all kind of crazy things just for the camera! Like here they did one of those classic poses where men are posed in two rolls. Something like soccer/football ( sport) photo.

OMG I love the idea of having varieties of different cakes flavors for the wedding day. Having only one of those wouldn't look so special but when you have five small wedding cakes then it looks very special as presentation and taste I think.

The wedding arch was done with birch branches, very organic, natural and simple. All handmade - DIY.
|
|
|
|
The bride and groom photos were done around 7pm when the sun was going down and we had the magic hour light on some of the photos. It felt like being inside a fairytale. When I spoke to Adrianna's mother on the phone after she saw the [photos from the wedding she was amazed about how beautiful those photos along the eucalyptus trees and yellow dry grass looked like. She wouldn't have thought that A&H portraits would look so great.

Adrianna,s siblings played few songs especially written for the newlyweds.

As the wedding was in a vintage style I thought that making some of the images in BW and used some vintage filters would contribute to the style and the atmosphere of the wedding party.
