The Studio and the Environmental Musician Portraits of Amber Field

May 29, 2013  •  Leave a Comment

I had the wonderful opportunity to meet and get to know the musician, singer, teacher, poet and healer Amber Field during our photo session last week. Amber won my Portrait package I donated to Counter Pulse for their May Day Auction. When she called me on the phone to schedule the photo session I knew it will be a fun and pleasure to work with her. She is one of these free spirit people that  can inspire your work and your working process.

We did some studio portraits and outdoor  -  environmental portraits.

The photos are supposed to serve as promotion  and marketing for her new website.

Amber plays on didgeridoo, arabic tambourine, djembe and she also sings. You can learn more about her here

Since the didgeridoo is a very long instrument we decided to do the portraits with it outside in nature where is usually played by the indigenous Australians.
